Advanced skills in nutritional assessment, diagnostic testing, nutraceuticals, functional foods and therapeutic diets (especially the plant based Mediterranean diet) will help establish you and the dietetic profession as the peak nutrition authorities in Australia. As such we have created this TOOLKIT to help direct your learning experience and help you develop practical clinical skills you can use in your day to day work.

Furthermore our Facebook group “Advanced Medical Nutrition Education Centre” provides an excellent platform for learning from colleagues, many of whom have many years’ experience using advanced medical nutrition therapy with their clients.
AMNEC also runs regular face to face workshops in Melbourne and webinars for those who cannot get to the former. These workshops are run by experienced APDs who are primarily but not exclusively AMNEC members. These workshops are practical and will teach you the skills including nutraceutical knowledge that you can start implementing in your private practice straight away.
